It would have been SO easy for Netflix to have said "This is BASED on a true story" instead of "this IS a true story". One word could have saved all this headache for them. I feel like i often see or associate a held tilt, esp with a squint like that, with aggression or confidence. Think about being in a heated argument with someone, or someone is lying / challenging you, and you have a response waiting. It sort of translates as a challenging "really?" or inquisitive aggression / arrogance ? Lol does that make sense? Almost like you feel in the right so you aren't afraid of that vulnerable gesture. You're confident in your stance. sometimes you see it on mean girls in movies, accompanied by a fake smile.

She’s just trying to turn this in the direction of her and it’s allowing her to control aspects and add herself into this story even more. It’s nonsense to believe that they don’t add things to tv shows or movies based on true stories. We all know it happens. She doesn’t deserve anything, convicted or not. She’s caused people a lot of trauma and pain, and should not be rewarded for that. It’s a freaking based on a true story that says they changed things for artistic effects.
